Hi, Welcome to the Thad Madsen State Farm Insurance Agency in Odessa, MO!

We serve the entire states of Missouri, Kansas and Iowa with a focus on relocations and out of State Transfers to Johnson & Lafayette County. Locally, we serve the towns of Odessa, Oak Grove, Wellington and the surrounding MO areas! I have been a State Farm Insurance Agent since 2020 and offer Car/Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance, Condo Insurance, Life Insurance, Business/Commercial Insurance and so much more!

I became a State Farm Agent to make a difference in the way people purchase insurance products which are designed to protect what matters most. With over 45 years of combined insurance experience my team of top-notch industry leaders can educate you on your options while being respectful to your budget and decisions. Over the years my office qualified for several awards including State Farm Chair mans Circle, State Farm Ambassador Travel Qualifier, and State Farm Honor Club.

As a native Odessan, I am so proud to be able to serve my community. I was born and raised on a dairy farm just South of Odessa! After graduating from Odessa High School I attended The University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. I am the proud father of 2 wonderful daughters, Delaney and Hallie. My wife, Megan, also owns and operates a local Floral Business named "Bloom." Our family currently resides in Odessa and we love our thriving community! In my spare time you can find me working on my farm, bowhunting, or spending time with my daughters! I am grateful and humbled to have the opportunity to serve Odessa and surrounding communities.

I have two amazing children, Kiefer and Derrian and the sweetest daughter in law Taylor. But my favorite is my grandson Koda! I started with State Farm almost 20 years ago with Don Slater and am so happy that Thad Madsen offered me the opportunity to join his team. I live in Odessa with my husband, Bryan, and 2 kids, Ethan and Aubrey. Aubrey is involved in FFA and Ethan is a Boy Scout with Troop 120. I am a member of the FFA Alumni & Supporters Organization, I am the Treasurer of the Boy Scouts and also a Board of Director for the Odessa Chamber of Commerce. My family and I love Odessa and enjoy being involved in the community!

I began working for State Farm under Don Slater in 2007 and I've been working with Thad since he began in 2020. I love getting to know customers and helping them with their insurance needs. I am so thankful for the strong bond that we have together as an office team!

Ashley is originally from Odessa but has lived in Higginsville since 2020. She is a proud graduate of Odessa High School! After high school Ashley attended The University of Central Missouri where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies and a Minor in Psychology. Ashley and her fiancé Chris have one child named Elijah and a dog named Poppy. Ashley loves spending her free time with her family, going to the gym, vacationing at the lake, hunting with family, and everything outdoors!

Ashley has 3 years of insurance experience and over 11 years of customer service experience. She enjoys helping people and building relationships with each customer that she works with. I was born and raised in a small town in southern Missouri called Cabool with a population of 1,900 people. I moved to the KC Metro area in 2014 after graduating high school to live with family. I then met my husband and bonus daughter in 2018 and moved to Odessa soon after. We got married in 2021 and completed our family in December of 2022 with our little boy, Levi. I love spending time with my family bowling, playing cornhole, swimming in any pool we can access, and having BBQs with our close friends and family! I have been at Thad Madsen State Farm since December 2021 and love being a part of this team. I enjoy getting to know all our current and new customers and providing all the help I can to make sure everyone is covered in every situation!
